Hey Joe

I apologize for being so difficult to get a hold of. A lot has been going on in the shop lately and Iíve candidly been spread thin.

The last week, been training the newest members to the team that will allow us to better serve you all.

To be honest with everyone, business has continually been growing at an exponentially quick rate. A lot of enthusiasts here have gone through quite the obstacle in working with us due to not having a large enough team to take on many tasks. So I greatly apologize about this on behalf of our company.

Our latest and largest team will be able to better suit this community. With our expanded shop space, newly installed lifts, and hired technicians, weíre hoping this will allow us to be more readily available.

There are a lot of tasks on our list to accomplish and doing our best to delegate and get through it all.

Thank you to everyone who has been so patient with working with us. We do believe we have a lot to offer, just trying to equip ourselves to support the global group of enthusiasts.

Joe, your order goes out tomorrow! Just got these back in stock.

Thanks!
Alex

Give it about a month or two and he'll eveeeeentually get back to you.

He has good intentions but is not making the changes that are needed to give proper customer service. Hope the best for him as he has helped the community a lot, but given past wait times it makes no sense to go to him for anything.

Alex has been super busy between a Stockpile of cars and track/race season!

I have been in communication with him and he has my car in the bay getting suspension installed. I know itís sometimes difficult to get a hold of him. But I value his dedication and knowledge and have been going exclusively to him over the past 5 years

Donít worry he hasnít left the country

Hey guys

Alex reached out to me today. I didnt mean or want to alarm anyone just curious what was going on.

I have done business with alex in the past and it seems like he just always legitimately busy....

BUT somehow always manages to come through or go above an beyond for his customers.

Thanks for the call today to explain everything Alex.

I sent them an email last week asking about cf fenders and didn't hear back so followed up yesterday. I guess my expectations for a response was too aggresive by the sounds of it. Lol

Hoping all is well and I'll sit tight for a response.

Alex is a great guy and very knowledgeable it seems. I was inquiring about JRZs back in late March and ended up doing a full build. This was my first time dealing with him.
Our conversation over the phone went well, promised regular pictures and updates with each stage and as things got completed. So I decided to drop the car off first week in April with a completion date beginning to Mid May to give him enough time, plus I needed to schedule time to drive 5 hours to Chicago.

I think the second week after dropping it off everything went south. Unresponsive and taking several days for the simplest questions. No updates, no pictures, or a small update in a 2 week span. Well, half the season gone, it’s Mid July, and the car has yet to be completed. I made myself very clear that I wasn’t happy at all with this service and with how much I’m spending with him. It was all good before I dropped it off, and basically a nightmare after that. Some stuff was out of his control which I understand, but the lack of communication is unacceptable. Even if it takes longer, fine, but at least let me know ahead of time and keep me up to date as to what’s going on.

Maybe it’s just my luck during a crazy time for him, but either way, I was promised much better and received a lot worse. Hoping that he gets everything done right and I do t have any issues. If everything goes well, I’ll be sure to give credit for quality work.

Unfortunately Alex and Performance Eurowerks have more business then they do man power. Awesome for them because they do awesome work and Alex is an awesome guy. I had lack of communication issues as well with Alex. He has recently settled the issues I had and helped me out with a faulty fuel pump hanger. I WILL do business with him in the future. But I know they need to focus some attention on proper communication which he knows and will willingly admit it needs improvement. Again they are busier then they can handle people dropping cars off without asking if heís available, track builds, and general maintenance. Iíve met Alex in person and he was and is an awesome person. But again I WILL do business with PE again.

This is likely the case with any small, enthusiast ran, specialist for our cars (assuming they are worth their grain of salt). It's just the unfortunate byproduct of being really good and in high demand. It's the best kind of problem to have from a business standpoint...especially if you can use it to scale up. My shop is the same way. They get backed up for months with their race car builds.

Sorry Leighton, I'm only doing it because you're a scholar and I can guess you actually might care, but the sayings... "a grain of salt" and "worth their salt" are completely different; the former about flavoring food for easier swallowing and the latter about currency (salt was money years ago). An absolutely fascinating book is "Salt." You know, to read while you're waiting for Alex to get back to you! See and we're back on topic

Alex is good; this is what happens to good, small businesses like you say.
