I truly believe anyone who buys a new m3 is simply buying it for a badge or are simply uneducated car-wise.
Just like E30 to E36 to E46, the E92 is a whole different car; doesn't necessarily mean it's crapp

Hardly. There is a LOT in common between the e30 and e36, and e36 and e46.

There is almost nothing in common between the e46 and e92 -- the 3er's have had almost the same front suspension shape for a VERY long time til now. The new 3er share the 5er and 7er's suspension which hasn't changed for a VERY long time, either.)

I'm guessing it's because of the increased weight.

Its sad that the M3 is getting heavier & heavier. If it keeps gaining weight I'm going to look towards a 997 Porsche. At least I know have a reason to buy one.

Z4 M coupe was assembled in the US. My bimmer has to be made & assembled in Germany. I dont want to pay top dollar for a high line car that was assembled else where.

E46 M3 and 135i is a MUST! Great cars! Wish they brought the CSL E46 M3 here but I have a feeling they might turn that 135i into an M as well!
