I just love how BMW made the E36 sedan weigh the same/take up the same space, the sedan is so much more usable. And better looking to me

Even though I was looking for a coupe, the sedans never bothered me - the differences are SO small.

Not to mention I will never have to replace $260 door seals (vs. my $38/ea), replace window regulator's that cost 3x mine, nor will my windows ever decide to only go up half way or something. Plus the rear two windows being open is great and the doors are pretty convenient.

Otherwise it doesn't matter - I didn't buy a car for looks.

I knew a friend who wouldnt buy the coupe no matter what! and that confused me! . But he eventually got his sedan and feels it is a better looking M but in my opinion to each his own and its personal preference.

That's another thing I forgot- I hate the coupe windows, the sealing system is stupid imo. You couldn't really convert the coupe windows to manual (good weight savings), but it wouldn't be too hard on the sedan

And just roll them up a 1/4 inch every time I drive? Or do said cheapo panels not have the same sealing system
