Default ASC dash light disable

I removed the ASC throttle actuator and ran a 10 ohm resistor as shown in this DIY.

My ASC light is still on in the cabin. Is there a better way to get this light to go off?

Thanks!

10 years ago I made a backlit ///M insert. It didn't come out all that great. I'm trying again to get it properly made with the same methods the original cluster gauge face was made with. This is the only real solution I have.

I have the same issue. I may remove the bulb!

Is there a simple workaround to get my dash to light up? My dimmer switch wiring is gone and the dash no longer lights up. I would love to just bypass it and have a switch to turn it on and off when needed...

As Marty said to me once when I made the same complaint, "well, it is a warning light".

I put on a bulb cover to tone it down, though.
