An absolutely fascinating book is "Salt." You know, to read while you're waiting for Alex to get back to you! See and we're back on topic

Alex is good; this is what happens to good, small businesses like you say.
Nice catch! No reason to apologize -- You are totally right.
What I meant was "worth their weight in salt (as in currency, like you mentioned)...Some how it came out as a hybrid of that and "taking something with a grain of salt (giving little credence to)...I must have been on auto-pilot with that.

It's like someone saying "irregardless" or "for all intensive purposes".
Cheers!

My car's been with Alex since June of 2017. Ive been deployed and I don't know if the car will meet the agreed upon time line. I'm ok with that though because I'm super busy as it is and not in a rush to get it back. I also don't like rushing people as my build is extensive and I want it done right. With that said I was able to reach Alex and he filled me in on the issues that he has faced the last few months. Could he be more informative yes, but he was also trying to complete the 80 hrs of work that was split between two people he hired, and they left the company for complications. Just give him time to get things worked out and running smooth again. I would still take my car back to him regardless of missed time lines.

Absolutely like I said Alex is a super genuine dude. Itís fortunate/unfortunate for him with how busy they are and the demand. He can only control and do so much. I almost offered to run his IG and help out with answering customers questions etc. becuase I know he needs help.

For what itís worth to the above replies and to others reading, there is a lot of restructuring going on at PE. In the last few weeks full time shop foreman/tech, as well as a full time tech have been added to the team. Along with reorganizing the shop for work flow, cars are being pumped out daily.

Although it may have been tough in the past to actually get a hold of Alex during, itís only to going to improve from here as he will be able to dedicate more of his time on customer service and improving slow service/product inquires that has been evident in recent times.

Yeah that'y the vibe i'm getting as well. No doubt Alex is top notch as far as the work is concerned and decided to take my car to him based on a lot of feedback from you guys here on the forums. It's just unfortunate that the lack of communication and such soured the experience for me a bit. He has been getting back to me more frequently as we have a pick up date next weekend.

3 weeks in possession, still am clueless on the issues with my car

I have to update this post about this above.... I only trust PE with my car. It'd be scrap metal without them. I guess I was just impatient about things with all the bs it’s been through lately.. you guys probably have so many other customers you guys need to take care of. I'm sorry.
