that's probably right. You can buy an entire Vette for the cost of a Cayman tail light.

‘Vette here. Wow at the (not unexpected, I suppose) 1.6 second gap for 5-60 with Manuela...

this is kinda killing me. I think ultimately it would be the Vette. But you can't argue with 400 lbs lighter on a tiny vehicle that you can toss through the corners. The only real downside to the Cayman would be the crappy engine sound.

Alright I think my mind is made up. Cayman (manual) it is. Tiny, Still fast as fuk, with a tune it's probably faster than the vette, superb chassis.

Hmmm this is definitely a tough choice. Gut instinct goes with the vette but it is really close

if you are throwing tunes at it, if you spent the same amount in $$ of tuning on the vette as you would on the Cayman, the Cayman will never win.

But, I'd wager tires and brakes last a little longer on the Cayman.

Is there any reason to get a Z51 at this point? The Grand Sport is only a couple grand more and aside from the extra capability and widebody fenders it will hold its value much better.

Yeah... didn't want to use the Grand Sport here because the poll wouldn't be close.

You can get them well below $60k all day long though, and that's before you start layering in the silly US car maker discounts:

Yeah, I'm just not a Vette guy. I've never had the urge to own one, so I would still take the 718 Base over the Vette GS.
