I have a hard time expecting this to make less than 400HP. If they do use a BMW six, I'd expect the S55 to be more likely with at least 425HP.

Or do you think they'll do a low end and high end model like previous Supras? If so, then yeah, B58 for the low end and S55 for high end. Essentially they'll be rebadged Z4/MZ4's similar to how the FRS is just a rebadged BRZ.

They need to have a strong launch like Nissan did with the GTR.

Iím actually looking forward to this. Always loved the MK IV.

I had read some rumors earlier that the Toyota would have MT option, BMW wouldn't. One of these cars better allow for rowing your own!

Doubtful. Manual gearboxes these days are only for poor euro people driving small vw’s & lonely car enthusiasts who use it to prop up their masculinity.

Autobox jus fine.

I have seen documents indicating the Z4 will come with a stick, but nothing for the Supra.

Last gen was one of my all time faves, and so much better looking than the new one

I find it rather shameful that toyota hasn't released a sports car (Lexi non withstanding) in almost 2 decades. Inexcusable for the brand.

lol true. I thought the A80 looked ridiculously bug-eyed but could forgive it for the motor
