I'm definitely a serious AVB fan, but to see Above & Beyond in concert would be my #1 pick.

Cosmic Gate too

I've got tix for the Rush Time Machine Tour here in June, they are playing Moving Pictures in it's entirety, also saw the first 2 nights of the A Perfect Circle reunion tour in Tempe a few months ago when they played Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step in their entirety, no other recent shows for me.

I kind of have an unfair advantage because of my dad so Ive been to more than I can count. These are the ones I can remember off of the top of my head:

Elton John
Jake Shimabukaro x 3
Kenny Rankin
Diana Krall x2
Joe Sample x2
Dave Matthews Band
Dave Matthews without his Band
Natalie Cole x2
Tina Turner x3
Michael Jackson
Prince
Nelson
Milli Vanilli
New Kids on the Block
LA Philharmonic x2
Madonna x2
Britney Spears
Christina Aguilera
Wayne Newton x3 or 4
Toto x2
Stevie Wonder
U2
Bono without U2
Sting
Boy George
Paul Oakenfold

There are many more that I cant think of right now.

Michael Jackson was definitely a spectacle, and the production was outrageous, but it felt very canned to be honest.

Hard to pick a fave. Arcade Fire and Coldplay were both very good (and I'm not really a big fan of Coldplay). Every time I've seen Spoon has been fantastic.

I said for a long time that Nine Inch Nails in Feb of '91 was the best show I'd ever seen; was just completely out of control, an amazing performance.

Tony Bennett at the Meyerhoff was way up there too. Switched off his mic at one point to let his voice fill the hall, and absolutely killed it.

Norah Jones is probably my recent non-Spoon fave. She and her band are absolutely perfect live; never miss a note, but it's not like just paying $50 to go hear her hits live. Always keeps it fresh.
