I was actually going to follow your lead on yellow until I decided on the vehicle color change. Then with that came the wheel color change, and then the caliper color choice. I’m really excited about it all!

Finally got around to painting the formerly black hardtop to match the car. Got quite a good color match on it, considering fresh paint vs. 17 year old original paint. Still have some detail/finish sanding/polishing to do, but overall I'm pleased. Definitely not bad for a "grease guy" who has no business holding a paint gun.

^Thanks. I've always said I'm a grease guy, not a dust guy, but I've painted a few cars over the last 25-30 years or so. I know just enough to be dangerous, and generally my rule of thumb is make damned sure the prep work is spot-on, then hose enough clear on it to be able to polish out my ineptitude with a gun.

I'm clearly no professional, but I can get one closer than being a 10-footer.
