Looking at it in person looks better than the pictures.

I still have yet to drive the vehicle though. That is a pretty disappointing verdict though. If BMW loses their handling, (and maybe even RWD) what are they going to have left to offer?

The first BMW I ever drove was my dad's old 545i and made me fall in love with the brand. I hope BMW can find that again.

Agreed... Best looking car in its class. All they need to do is get the eye of the tiger back.

I'm still not completely sold on the looks, but it's growing on me.

The car is massive. I can't believe that the new F10 5 series has a bigger wheelbase than the outgoing 7 series...

Although I think it's a huge improvement over the e60, it still does not compare to the A8.... oh, sorry, A6 I guess .

IMO right now the only truly stunning car BMW makes is the Z4, which kills the class in looks.

Hey, i just said that. 5 series took a huge step forwards, E class took a huge step backwards. Audi is on the pursuit of pure timeless design.

I'm going to have to disagree with both of you.

I love the E60. I think it was a great design. The more I look at it, the more I think it even looks better than the E39. The best 5 series design still is the E34 though.

I also love the new E-class. Makes me drool whenever I see one driving down the street.

I think the Audis look pretty good, except the new A8. The design looks great on the A4/A5 cause it's a smaller car, but on the bigger A8, something just looks off.

confusing posts but ima agreed to disagree to agree. I have seen plenty of the new 5s on the road and they look great. If bmw kills the handling its a true loss for the car enthusiast. I really didn't like the last gen e60 except the 550 and m5 ala body kits. The new audis are way more pretty then the competition and the new Eclass has grown on me I love the face of that car all AMGed up. The E39 still best looking and best feel in my opinion. carryon
