OT: Mechanical Watches

It seems to me that guys who like M3's would also have an interest in other high quality mechanical toys. As a Friday diversion, I was wondering if anyone else has an interest in mechanical watches, and if so what are you wearing today.

1995 Tag SEL -- I wear it everywhere: skiing, climbing, diving. It's been dropped onto concrete, rubbed against reefs, and banged into rocks. It's also survived a car crash that totaled the car and hospitalized the driver (I was a passenger). You can't destroy it! You can't even scratch it!

Got to go for the true "manufacture" watches. I beleive there are only about 7 in the world that create thier own movements.

I would go for the Patek Phillipe watches.

Just the generic Rolex Datejust in stainless and 18k that I've had since 1993.

Yeah, I have one I got in 98 (with blue face) and it has been through everything short of taking a bullet and it doesn't have a single scratch on the face. Wonderful watch. That's what you get with sapphire crystal faces.
