Yeah, snow is just not for our cars... Too much power on real wheel..
I bought this car like 2 weeks ago and winter is gonna end soon so I dont think I will spend more money to buy snow tires. Maybe next winter season if I am still in New York, i will buy 'em.

I am an international student so tuition for 4 years is like 5 M3s! Ridiculous!

Default Hobart Alum

I went to Hobart College in Geneva, New York. It is about 35 minutes north of Ithaca. As you know, the winters are terrible there. Please don't try anything dumb with your M3 in the snow. If you are staying in the area for the summer, you will be pleased, great driving weather. Also, join the BMWCCA and take your car to Watkins Glen. I was only 25 mins from the glen and was there with my 86' 535i. I'm going to track my M3 there in July and pick up my years supply of wine at the local vineyards.

Good Luck and Enjoy!

Steve

You can get into track events at the Glen and elsewhere. You would have gotten a $500 rebate on your M3. You get discounts on parts and service lots of places.

My $99 3-year membership payed for itself with a 10% service discount on one service bill for my old 318ti and I will get the $500 back on the M3 later this year. (BTW: the $500 is separate from any deal you make with the dealer. It comes after the fact from BMW. And its even more on other models.)

Wait a second. I joined BMWCCA after I bought the M3 and I didn't get any $500 rebate.
