Exclamation Video DIY suspension install thread (including RTABs, sways, FCABs, coilovers)

Presented by Ian Lindvig and Dan Law of DER Motorsports. The videos star Dan Law, from lots of interesting angles

NB: You need the latest version of quicktime to watch the downloadable versions

These videos were made using a GC suspension, as at the time we made these videos they were the best option for many people. We will soon be updating them with TCK, but the install procedures are very much the same regardless of what kit you get (including PSS9s, KWs (though with KWs the ride heigh adjustor on the rear goes on top of the spring and the top rubber pad goes underneath it), etc as well).

Note to e36 owners:
I realize these videos feature and e46. I have spent lots of time working on both e36 and e46 suspension and they are very, very similar. The only real difference in install procedure is that at the base of the e36 front shocks, the shock is attached to the suspension by bolts instead of by a clamp.

Note on Rear suspension install: If you are installing KWs, the rear ride height adjustor goes on TOP of the spring, not underneath like all other kits. In addition, the rubber pad that was mounted on top of the stock spring should be used underneath the KW spring (between the control arm and the spring).
