I am tempted to do it myself as well. I heard it takes forever on the vert because there is so much more to cover. Thanks for the response!

So I want to do whatever in-place. What is more durable, the Vinyl shadowline (available in gloss which would go well with my black chrome grills and gills) or Plastidip, which seems relatively easy to do looking at the youtube videos. On the e93, the piece across the rear package shelf (where the rear roof meets the trunk) seats against the roof with the roof up, so this piece gets rubbed every time the roof goes up/down. It also tends to collect dirt from rain.

I worry that that piece would get messed up if using plastidip or vinyl. Any comments from someone whom has done this?

Thanks!
I did vinyl wrap my window trim and dont have any problems at the rear piece between the roof and the trunk that you mentioned, it has been more than a year since I vinyl wrapped my trim and it still looks like new

Guys, can you post pictures of your E93 done.
How much vinyl tape and installation cost I could expect?
