So I've been posting on main thread, but no real help so here goes! car use to shift fine! Bought this car recently by the way I tried to power break the car to launch a little didn't do anything but give me trans light at low rpm not to much load at all and I went to park the car and tires slipped on grass being that they were bald....



And now at this point car is still on but won't engage any gear! So idk im sitting here thinking shut down maybe it cools off and goes back to normal but no car still does not wanna start 2 months later being this ain't my main m3 I only play with it when I have time,

I checked fluid level seems to mark max!

Replaced the salmon relay! And still car will not start"

Fully charged battery

Pump does prime when u unlock it with the keyless entry,

Smg light is on and get a blinking 0 from the moment ignition is on

Idk not no how to troubleshoot if the hood censors are bad....... Kinda running out of ideas I tried to scan with my obd2 scanner but no codes are showing up!

Finally pulled oem codes with regular 600 dollar scanner

P2805
Transmission range sensor a/b correlation

P0763
Shift solenoid c circuit electrical

P0900
Clutch actuator circuit/open

P1720
Manufacturer control transmission

P0901
Clutch actuator ckt range /perf


I hate myself for buying this smg model!
I had the clutch changed due to the shop telling me it was the issue now car does start on everycrank!.... but now the car no longer has 2nd 4th or 6th gear !!!!
Wtf I'm going nuts it had the gears before this issue and now I'm told to swap out tranny has anybody dealed with not having bottom gears I have reverse 1st 3rd 5th no bottom

I would say mistake first smg car didn't really know about launch control! And all that....


And is there a way of checking if there bad or should. I Go ahead and just replace both!

You abused the clutch. When you were power breaking the clutch was likely taking the abuse. Let it cool off and see if the light goes off.

I did it once maybe 2 seconds on both didn't even pass 2k and light came on doubt that was it mind u this happen2 months ago! So its had plenty of time to cool...

Hood sensors won't keep the car from starting. They will keep a running car from going into gear.
What exactly happens when you try to start the car? won't crank, or cranks but won't start?

It does nothing atall just blinking 0. And warning lights

You're going to have to get codes read by a diagnostic tool that is known for certain to read BMW codes and specifically SMG codes.
Is the car in neutral and will it roll? I'm thinking you may have hosed the clutch and it is stuck, not disengaging the flywheel.

Yes the car moves if I push it with break down! Guess I'm gonna have to tow it somewhere....
