My first ///M3...

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 2003 M3 Mystic Blue Convertible with SMG. I've been reading a lot of posts lately and making sure I had enough knowledge of the car to make the leap. My previous car was a 2004 Infiniti G35. So far I really like how the car handles and the acceleration is awesome. I need to do a few things to the car before I really drive it. The car has 70,xxx miles, and I am already planning to do the fluids and other regular maintenance stuff just to have a starting point. I also ordered the RaggTopp kit and will do a complete detail of the car today, so I will post more pictures after I finish the washing and detailing.

From a performance point, I had never liked convertibles (and from what I've read here, many people bash them

), but living in West L.A. with the nice weather and all I decided to go with a vert and it is a really fun car. This is also my first time even being inside a convertible. Anyways, just wanted to stop by and say hello, and looking forward to learning a lot more on this forum.

Thanks. So far I love it. I've been reading all the DIY's on this forum and will surely do some of those first. There is so much information here.

Thanks. I am really enjoying this car. I was thinking about doing the San Diego cruise tomorrow, but I have a couple if midterms on Monday and will be busy with that. Most likely will do it next time.
