Lap belts can be mounted to the rear seat base bolts if using a proper "L" shaped bracket (like the one VAC sells). Do not use the front seat base bolts for your sub belts as that position is way too far forward (you want these belts angling back towards the rear to prevent any submarine movement in an impact). For the sub belts I would get the VAC sub bracket, makes the install very easy.

Looks like you might be placing a next day air order with VAC Or since it's just a show (BloxOH right?) you really don't even need to mount them as no one will be able to tell, just have the lap/sub belts dangling through the seat and use your stock 3-point belts to secure you while driving for now.

Look at this PDF for the install, it lists everything you will need to know about getting the proper points/angles. The Scroth harness includes eye bolts w/ backing plates if you don't mind drilling holes for your belt mounts.

Get the VAC sub belt bracket and lap belt bracket. They both fit on the seat base and use existing bolts so you don't have to drill into the body of the car and mount eye bolts. I believe they are $39 each.

Has anyone ever used the vac sub bar on other brands of seat bases or it will just work on the vac floor mounts...

"why don't you just tell me the movie you would like to see."

Seriously, what floor mounts are you using?

I believe Macht Schnell also makes a sub belt mounting bar.
