They are definitely discontinued. I checked at the dealer a few specifically by part number (82 11 1 469 448) a few weeks ago as my car did not come with anything but the main key, and even that was missing the light, battery and button.
![]() The parts guy said they have been MIA for a while now, though you can still get the older 3-button style. Makes no sense. He couldn't understand why BMW would do that, either. His suggestion was eBay but all I have been able to find are used ones that are really expensive. If I'm going to spend $90+ on a keyless entry/alarm fob, I want a new one, not someone's old keychain. |
