whining sound at idle?
hi i am new to the m3 world and just purchased an 08 sedan and absolutly love it!! this is the first m3 ive owned and was wondering if it is supposed to whine at idle? it sounds exacly like a vortech supercharger. I hope the answer is yes
 ps its only at idle, and no other issues what so ever |

My 2008 e92 makes a noise at idle too. Not sure it's a whining noise, more like a knocking noise. When I press down on the clutch it stops. Not sure what it is but it doesn't seem to be an issue.

Exacly like that!!! Is that normal. I've been reading and it kind of seems like some cars do it and some don't (just the impression I'm getting)
