Default 45,000 mile service

Where can I find what the 45,000 mile service entails?

I searched "interval" and got 25 results. I tried "45,000" and got 1,003 results.

Default Re: 45,000 mile service

Correct me if I'm wrong but those cars' services intervals are condition based and vary on the use of the car.

So there isn't really a set service at 45k miles on the dot but just roughly around there based on when your last service was performed and how hard/easy you drive the car.

An exception to this are spark plugs which are due at 37k but I'm afraid you'll just have to bring your car in and have them read it to really know what it's prompting.

This will be my next service too and I sure hope they replace the transmission fluid!

Keep us posted.

All they did was change oil, flush brake fluid, replace intake silencer and filter, and reset the counter.

There arent any "service intervals" anymore. Everything now is condition based. You can see how long until the next service when you start the car each time or go into I-drive to see exactly which are due. The calculations are based of mpg, better mpg you get the farther apart you need service.... Worse mpg the closer service intervals you'll get.
