Just bought a second hand 08 convertible m3 a few days ago. It says Service Engine Soon. Is it going to tell me exactly when I need to take it for service or should I take it now?

So there is a reason why S54 Oil changed at 4000 miles don't turn its color to bronze.
..But it makes sense why BMW would do that. They're not our friends, they want profit.
