Default AA SC Install complete

Finally finished up the installation this weekend: used AA Gen 2 Stage 3 SC, AA meth kit, AP headers and muffler, Borla sec 1 and 2 (no cats), and PLX gauges. Thanks to Mspired for the kit and to Jean and Craig at AA and David at HPF and other forum members for all of the help getting it together and installed. Couple pics posted, i had to fab a mounting bracket to get the trunk tank and motor to fit (will not fit above the battery on the convertible). i can post more pics if anyone wants. Don't know how I ever did without it, the power is awesome ! It is going in for wideband O2 sensor install, HPF clutch and TMS subframe reinforcements next week...so no dyno yet, but soon after that.

is that the new meth kit AA has as an upgrade, or are you running alcohol/water?

Is that meth pump in the correct location? Since it's a 'push' type pump, shouldn't it be placed below the tank? AA mounts it that way on their battery tray.

I know AA might not use the same pump, but I would assume that it's the same type of pump.

It is an AA meth/water kit (they upgraded my W/A kit). Their standard battery tray installation does place the pump next to the tank (not above). Thanks for the heads up, I will ask AA about the location...I sent them a photo, and it seems to work fine. I could relocate it forward of the tank if need be.

There is NO vacuum line running to the bypass valve at all?

There IS a vac line connected to the bottom nipple on the BV, you Tee into the factory vac line between the fuel rail and firewall (the larger vac rail). The top nipple and bottom 2" opening of the BV are open to atmosphere. You can reference the pics in the AA manual. The 'lag fix' is to remove the vac line from the BV and manifold, and the hose from the BV to the SC inlet 'snail' pipe, and cap the inlet to the SC. There is a write up on this at E46PSI.com.

Glad to see my kit up and running again man. Looking forward to some dyno's with the new meth setup as I always was trying to make that "kit" myself.

Just use a solenoid after the pump and you should be fine. Especially since the pump is so far from the nozzle and its above the tank. You can get eh solenoid from Snow Perf.

thanks for the tip - i ordered the low level indicator and the solenoid from snow. did you use their boost juice ? the intake manifold was a little pink. i just mixed straight meth and water which is clear, but that boost juice sure looks easier and safer if its compatible.
