No worries, I DIY a lot of stuff, I have 5 M-cars I maintain all the time - all out of warranty older girls with over 100K miles each. Like I said, I know my limitations and DIY rod bearings is not what I want to do. I'd prefer to spend my weekend playing ice hockey with my son or tasting wine with my wife. I spend too much time in the garage as is, so its all good.

I'm getting $1200-1500-1700 quotes from several local indies depending on parts. So I'm fine with that, once the time comes to have this done.
