Re: Coolant in Valvetrain

It says in the description they can be used for oil and coolant...

There's also these oil only pads.

B-Spec tune vs Paul Claude tune. Are they comparable in terms of price, offerings, and customization?

Re: Japanese CSL owner converts to manual

I've traveled all over the country for business and have driven in nearly every major city. LA traffic during rush hour is terrible. And if I recall, it makes the top of the list for worst traffic...

Hell I'm young (20's) and I wouldn't want to daily my M3 anymore after switching to a SUV daily with an automatic transmission. I know I argued differently when the M3 was my only car and I was...

Probably because we prefer to actually utilize the functional aspect of our cars. Don't get me wrong, I keep the car clean and the paint pristine (as best as I can), but at the end of the day, it's...

Re: Supersprint Oversized Twin-Piped Section 2 Official Review Thread

Supersprint (and manufacturers of other car parts) need to hire or at the very least, consult with a packaging engineer on their packaging designs and product protection. I can't think of one time...

Re: Repair work price check

See if you can source parts yourself through FCP Euro for the lifetime warranty and pay for labor separately. Some shops will let you while others won't.

Re: Best way to remove this gunk

Can you use a scraper that won't scratch the paint (lower hardness level/non-abrasive) yet is strong enough to remove the sound deadening?

Re: Not Your Standard Front Bumper Fitment Thread

Great timing as I need to adjust mine. Having the same issue. The bumpers on these cars notoriously have bad fitment and alignment - both front and rear.

Re: So BMW finally released S58. Thoughts?

Does it though? In the early 2000's, we could argue BMW M performance was at its pinnacle relative to its competitors. M cars clearly dominated and led the pack - there was almost no comparison...

Re: American racing headers Results

I just think you're being logical here. Why spend $1,000+ more on a set of headers if the difference in gain is only going to be marginal? Economically speaking, it doesn't make much sense when you...

I'm not saying E46 M3 owners running thinner oils will have adverse side effects, but I think it's a little premature to conclusively make that statement without having more miles on S54s that have...
