That drivers seat does not go with the milage. The underside is not detailed, it is not corroded and the most rust I see is on the after market muffler, likely a Dinan unit. Some stuff looks like it...

If you are not flowing more air you do not need a bigger MAF. You cannot really flow more air unless you change out the manifold as it is causing the restriction. It was used in both the 2.8 and 3.2...

Canada got the 45 3.0L cars and then did not get any till ~1997 when we got the US spec 3.2 engine. They tend to have the tilt steering wheel and I believe the floating euro front rotor was standard...

Sure sound different from a NA car. Floating rotors are not part of the standard package on these cars but make a nice upgrade that will not "warp" even with track usage.

I passed my drivers test in a 2002 in 1976. Driven various BMWs since.
In 1992 drove then then new E36 325i on the Ring and the autobahn and it was so much better then the audi 200Q I was driving...

unfortunately dealer service is less than this car needs. Replace all the fluids, including the "lifetime" ones, and the cooling system right away. Then evaluate all the bushings under the car....

The 45 Canadian cars were importable to the US all along. They have a NA compatible VIN and some made it into the US over the years. The ROW cars were not as they did not have a NA compatible VIN...

The braking is entirely dependant on the pads you use. If you use a track biased pad the braking is generally excellent.
Can you please tell me why Japanese M3 of this era in full Japanese spec...

Did you check that you have enough refrigerant in the system. All systems have a low pressure switch that will shut the system down to protect it if the refrigerant is too low.

I have a Dinan supplied kit with the springs at the default setting. I believe it is 1 1/8 turns from full soft. It works well

Yes, mine is a jan 1994 build and when I did the suspension over in 2011 I ordered the kit to weld in the reinforcements and when the sub frame was off they were already in place. Still have the kit...

What cars are you used to? The E36 does have heavier steering than modern cars especially electrically boosted ones. Is the steering wheel smaller than stock?

With a head gasket leak pressurizing the coolant I would expect low compression. It is a leak after all.

Yes, It sounds like a head gasket leak pressurizing the coolant circuit.

Presently I have Dinan supplied Konis and Dinan springs with Vorshlag camber plates in my 94 M3. 0 toe and -2.5 degree camber (which I never change) and poly offset FCA bushings (powerflex) Great...
