Re: ECS Scan Tool, Do you have it ?

I assumed Foxwell got their architecture from DIS. Would they really make their own software for the various tests?

Re: ECS Scan Tool, Do you have it ?

Pardon my ignorance, but are you saying that the DIS results themselves are disturbing or that there's a discrepancy, is disturbing? Did the Schwaben test pass as well?

Re: Porsche 996 Brake Caliper Set & P0lar Bracket

I think you'd need to know which revision these are. I believe P0lar's first brackets didn't but then he updated them, as far as I can remember.

Re: Porsche 996 Brake Caliper Set & P0lar Bracket

You could reuse your rear rotors, but would need csl/zcp fronts.

This comes with rear brackets; you'd need front ones from ecs or rallyroad.

You'd need F & R lines from ecs or rallyroad.net

Re: E46 4:10 gearing Mod

I got tired of it personally. It made driving in the wrong gear too easy. It makes you lazier, 'cause you don't have downshift really, you could just lug it around. Also, dsc came on all the time...

Re: Michelin Pilot 4S

Ya exactly plus my wheels are 8.5/9.5 like csl anyway. Also can't quite stuff a 10mm spacer in the back, but 265s would allow it I bet. Would also gain a tiny leverage advantage like lower gearing...

Re: no SAP but still an ugly bracket

So why would a stock airbox get a nice coat of oil inside, but not a CF box? Time/use?

+1 Whenever I hear someone say front end clunk, I immediately think of the endlinks' connection to swaybar or strut tab.

I keep checking my airbox and there's not the slightest film of oil at all unlike my stock manifold, though that had a ton of miles on it. Seems like my catch can is doing it's job. It's been a...

Re: How many hours of labor for smg pump replacement?

Seems fair for a dealer. Maybe $400 at a indy. Pretty easy to DIY though. Ever remove your manifold/airbox?

Not to be smarty pants, but in case someone finds this thread later, it looks like the # is 51487893363

as 51487893370 is the flexible, dimpled heatshielding down the pass side of engine into the...

Re: HEAT SHIELD-keep it or toss it? (after header install )

Even though I wanted to show off my SSv1s, and I like to make my engine bay presentable/unique, I left the heatshields in. They're purposeful and weigh very little.

Per real OEM, under vehicle...

Re: no SAP but still an ugly bracket

It looks a little better if you pull out the mounting hardware and just clean it/treat it.

Not hard to cut though, either.

Looks really really good! As close to OE as it gets.

Adjusting any trunk, oe or not, is an art lol. I've spent hours and hours on mine.
