Re: E30 control arms on 95 e36 m3?

I believe no, the E30 arms are not correct. You could use the E30 M3 arms as they are the same geometry and are aluminium, but they aren't as durable on a heavier E36.

The brake ducts are $30, that's not too bad. If it is for you, you probably own the wrong car. Owning an old, German, sports coupe probably requires deep pockets.

Re: Inside the trunk, taillight cover question

That's a drivers side cover, (they screwed up the ad, but that is drivers side.) and the clip holds the emergency triangle. (which we in the US didn't get either...) There's also the first aid kit...

Re: On the hunt for a newer DD to pair with my E36..Interested in Opinions

Nope, traded it two years ago to get the Corvette. As great as the C7 is, (and it really is an awesome car), I still miss how fun the Mini was.

Re: Does the E36 M3 tranny have a VIN stamped on it?

Sorry but I think that's silly. If you are buying for a collection and not to actually drive, go for it. But really, for a driver car?

Re: Cost of a engine rebuild

Bentley repair manual, and copy of the BMW TIS off ebay. Having your own EKT (parts book) is good, but you can get away with Www.bmwfans.info A healthy credit card helps too.
