Re: Thinking of buying father in laws m3. Input please

Unless this car has everything wrong with it I would say 12k is a good deal. I think the three areas of concern you mentioned are the most important big-ticket items.

Re: Hagerty Just Said It: Buy an E46-Chassis BMW M3 Now

Trans Am has aged infinitely better than the Camaro and that LS1 is still such a great engine. The fit and finish on the interior is absolutely horrendous, I loved my Camaro for the power and noise...

Re: My M3 Totalled, Need Advice

I think somewhere between 20k-25k is good. Can't hurt to see if you can get a little more out of it.

Is it coil overs or bust with these cars? I am figuring the spring will be a good time for a suspension refresh as I have just about 70k miles. Was thinking about springs/struts but seems like...

Re: 50% off Supersprint Exhaust Cyber Monday Only!

Ended up going with the unresonated section 2 and sport muffler, couldn't pass it up. Really wanted to get the entire exhaust but I know I am going to need some work in the spring so figured I would...

Re: Post those Black Friday deals

Would you guys go with unresonated section 2/sport muffler or resonated/race muffler? Think I am going to pull the trigger, time to start stock piling parts.

Re: Post those Black Friday deals

Think I might grab the resonated section 2 to start piecing together an exhaust setup. Will the Supersprint section 2 bolt up to any other header and cat back or only SS stuff?

Re: What is a '06 IB/M cloth slick top with 66k miles worth

The issues with the car seem consistent with a car with that mileage. Its in the top 1% of cars I see on a daily basis. Maybe you need to be in the top 1% of the 1% to get a premium but it looks...

Re: Megan Racing Headers

Looks good, thanks for following up on the fitment. I guess now the concern will be longevity and how they do through heating and cooling cycles.

The worst part about doing a headliner is getting it out. You could buy one from a wrecked car and then all you would have to do is swap it. You can take yours out and redo it as well. Once its...

So do the bearings still go bad if you had them replaced or were replaced under warranty? Cause it seems like everyone does it regardless.

Re: Diy toolkit

Definitely get a Sears kit while they still exist. I bought a middle of the road, probably 2xx piece kit in high school and I am still using it 13 years later. You will add tools as you need them.

Its a car, it's going to get some battle scars. Enjoy it! I drove a track prepped e36 M3 across the country, over 8000 miles in just less than a month. It was awesome.

Re: Evolve Supercharger S54

If they put out a kit and its subpar people are going to rip it apart. Better to wait and put out a solid product than destroy your reputation.
