Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

Looking forward to trying it! I need to keep better notes so we can exchange.

My Black Oak Coffee is tracked to my hometown so I am guessing it will be here today. That was quick from the west...

Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

I totally agree with this! Though, when someone makes a recommendation, I usually try it out. I roast on average about 10 oz. every 4 days of Sweet Marias.

Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

I am a big fan of Ethiopian coffees - some of the best I have had. I like almost all coffees, including light, bright, and fruity. I bought one bag for pour-overs and one for espresso. I will give my...

Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

It's not really up-dated, just a cheaper model. I bought the wrong one. I think it is worth the extra $50.

Good question - Seattle Coffee Gear did a video on this exact thing. Someone wrote in...

Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

Yeah, zero complaints after (3 years?) with my Lido. $130 sounds like a great price. I bought mine on a presale, but I think I still paid more than that. Maybe $175.

Something must be wrong though...

Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

Nice! I wonder how it compares to the Lido?

There are people comparing them. Looks likes plus and minuses for each.

Just got the Feld2 the other day, and have been using the Lido 2 for years.

Re: Does Anyone Roast their own coffee?

Love it man. I accidentally bought the "Homeline" version of it and returned it for their main model.

The Homeline has the filter basket sit directly on the pot which I thought was odd. It also...
