Agreed. From my experience, cars that are tracked are usually maintained with better parts and have better service history.

Bell and Stilo's bottom shelf are still really good. I bought Racequip because it was cheap, but if I could do it again, I'd probably go with one of them.

Who built the catch can/catch can mount? I know it's a radium, but I was under the impression that they don't have one that allows it to vent to the atmosphere.

Re: Velocity Stacks vs. CSL style Intakes

TE37's add 50+ whp so it's worth. E88's, I can only imagine how much whp they add.

Personally, I prefer airbox over going FI. Mainly for the reliability aspect.

Re: A "what's it worth" thread

I'd say around low 20's as well. Granted this is after your sort through a bunch of 15-18k offers for quite some time.

Wow looks amazing. Any reason you didn't go with CF roof?

Also what hood is that?

Re: First Look - Aston Martin DB9 BBK Retrofit Review

They do indeed. I can take more pics later when I have time. So far super pleased with them. Iím probably going to stick with 325mm for a while due to lower consumable costs.

Re: First Look - Aston Martin DB9 BBK Retrofit Review

For everyone wondering if the 325mm version will fit 17x10ís, the answer is yes. Itís definitely less room than my 18x10 TE37ís, but you still have about half an inch to an inch of space from the...

Like I said, no personal experience. Didnít even say Jordan blew it up, I just said he stopped answering when he told him what happened.

Re: E46 coupe roll bar by Ben Sipson

Have you actually attempted this? I wanna see how the layout looks like. Last track day I spent an hour trying and gave up and drove to the track with them instead.

Re: How bad are OEM brake pads on track

I drive with PFC08 to the track. The squealing when coming to a stop at a stop light and stop signs makes me wish I had tinted windows

Re: E46 coupe roll bar by Ben Sipson

I wouldn't say easily get all 4. I have the kirk bar which has no cross bar and I can barely fit 4 if I spend a minimum of 30 minutes playing wheel tetris. This is all with 17 in wheels.

Re: Megan Racing Headers

Enough to make me roll up my window. I can't smell it unless I'm at a stoplight for 10~ seconds with windows rolled down.

Yeah those gaskets are trash. That might be it if you're smelling it while you're driving around.

Re: TTFS CSL Tune vs 6spd swap

To be fair, mine had 130k before the swap and never actually failed. If where you live doesn't get hot (mine started overheating pretty quickly anywhere over 90F+), then I wouldn't worry too much...

Re: TTFS CSL Tune vs 6spd swap

When my car used to be SMG, it was actually not as bad as people said. I think you have to "learn" to drive it if you will. I also always drove it in manual mode so there's that. I would still choose...

I feel like the purple wouldn't give the bronze enough justice IMO. You could always buy the wheels first to see how it looks with current color. Here's mine steel gray w/ bronze:

Re: 2002 BMW M3 - Laguna Seca Blue/Black - 6MT - 108k Miles - Phoenix

I don't think any 100k miles will ever be worth 30k. Even if he had cinnamon interior it'd maybe go for mid 20's at most. Regardless, GLWS OP this is a beautiful exterior color.
