Tbh, I've had 3 E39 530is. I could never drive an E46. The e36 build quality feels like a suzuki compared to an E39. An e46 styling is not appealing at all.

I don't think I could live with the E46's. Simply because I don't like the way they look. All my friends have E46s non M sedan/coupe I just don't like the way they look. Eventually I'd like an S50B30...

Yeah, OEM bolts. Like after ur first start up you have to go check all the bolts again.

I am sure they aren't crushed. Doing this job my first time I think the head gasket wasn't seated properly....

Alright guys the heads off. Pistons had no damage. But in the gasket there was some valve seat. Machine guy things its the valve guide. But it has more tear down to go.

The window regulator was not a desirable fix only because of a couple of reasons. The window went down in the middle of winter. I had a wooden block holding the window up until I got a used regulator...

I don't think I'll run liqui moly ever again. A friends S62 running 10w60 burned it. Same with my S50. Not running liqui moly ever again

I think I'm going to change to 0w40. And how many qts is the s50 anyone? I used 6.5Liters so its 6.8 qts almost

On my e39s i6 I used 0w40 Mobil 1. But, what about winters. Can I still run 0w40, 10w40 in the winter

Hi guys I'm out here in Ohio just picked my M3 up that mostly sat but started. THe last oil change before my ownership was at 143k miles in 2013. Then when I got it in 2017 I did one at 147k miles...
