Re: Can I use shorter than stock endlinks on stock struts?

Oh and BTW regarding control arm clearance, it appears that shorter endlinks give you more clearance so I don't see that being an issue at all.

Re: Can I use shorter than stock endlinks on stock struts?

Alright well I asked someone that knows what they're talking about and he says it should be fine as long as it doesn't bind, and he doesn't suspect that slightly shorter endlinks would cause any...

Re: Can I use shorter than stock endlinks on stock struts?

Are you sure it will bind? As far as I know it will just change the angle of the swaybar since the length is shorter on both sides.

Can I use shorter than stock endlinks on stock struts?

I used to have coilovers on this car, and they came with endlinks that are shorter than the stock ones. I'm putting it back together now with koni inserts and I don't have my stock endlinks, so I was...

Re: Unclear on effects of swapping strut hats

Thanks for the info. -2.5 is kind of a lot for a car that will only see the occasional autocross but it might be worth it, I'll have to think on it.

Re: Unclear on effects of swapping strut hats

I'm not worried about the toe. I'm in the process of installing koni shocks on the car which will necessitate an alignment afterwards.

What do you mean my estimate on the camber is correct?...

Unclear on effects of swapping strut hats

I've heard some people say it will prematurely wear the bearings, other people don't mention it. Heard camber estimates from -1 all the way up to -2.5 degrees after the switch.

Anyone that knows...
