IMO there's no reason to change it up (extra hole, shaved, whatever)-- that'll just result in less people buying it. I know either would be a deal breaker for me.

Re: Thoughts on 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

I'm pretty sure I don't care about that... at all, in an suv.

Zero desire to ever drive an SUV unless I'm doing something at car can't, at which point I'm almost certainly not going fast.

Re: 10 years of owning e46 m3 .

14 years and counting, for me! I became obsessed with it when the chrome shadow concept car came out in 2000. Currently have driven ~250,000 miles in my various e46 M3s, including 10,000+ track...

Re: TC Kline DA Question

I don't know, but assuming 900 lbs/corner of car weight (with driver) and assuming a 1.00 motion ration (even though I know it's more like .96 up front),
A 600 lb/in spring would compress 1.5"...

Re: TC Kline DA Question

Yeah, TCKs springs are set up so you can change springs without changing ride height (so you don't lose your corner balance). Result: softer springs are longer.

Re: Storing my stock seats?

I just keep mine in the basement (which is dry).

Out of the sunlight, pretty constant temp even if the heat or AC fails.

Re: Best D2S bulb for e46 M3

Indeed-- I'd never buy a 7000k bulb.

My issue is, I don't want to buy a bulb without knowing (choosing) the color temp. 7000k is just significantly functionally worse than 4300-5000k. Even...

Has your ride height lowered an inch? If so, I suspect the lock ring wasn't properly seated. If not, I don't think your pre load situation changed.

Most of the time, top end noise is a loose top...

Seems crazy the color temp on the box isn't the color temp you're buying. Frustrating, in fact :P

Re: Mid-sized Luxury Car Interiors (Rank from Best to Worst)

Voted for the E, though the A6 is right there with it. Going by pictures I'd probably choose the A6, but IRL the E feels a bit better, imo.

Generally, I think pictures don't convey how premium an...

Fire is a good and fast confirmation that you have received counterfeit bulbs. It quickly lets you know, solving the amazon problem :parrot:

Neither is made in CA. 10 seconds of google shows that varrstoen wheels are made in taiwan.

Widths has nothing to do with a need for spacers or not, so not sure why you said that.

Hopefully...

Re: Best D2S bulb for e46 M3

Amazon is a risky place to buy bulbs, IMO. SO many are counterfeit, with very little way to tell other than lower performance and/or lifespan. I wouldn't buy any bulbs there.

I suspect it would not work well to only remove that, but don't know for sure.

That module is super light.

Re: Euro headers to CPI Stepped headers install & first impressions

Would be interesting to get a dyno with just the headers, no airbox, if you can!

Doing both at once makes it fuzzy which gains came from what.

That's the BM53. It's the radio tuner and preamp, if you have a car with navigation. If you don't need that functionality, you can nix it.
