Re: Learned something new (to me) about our subframes

The one I did retains the use of the folding seats.
Also both cmp and Vince bars do not reduce trunk space. Mason engineering brace also has a removable section.

Re: Intake and tune bang for the buck

If I'm honest, no.. I did a lot of testing on the dyno, and removing the filter assembly entirely yields about 10 whp less than a filtered csl airbox , the one i made anyway... add a filter to...

Re: Learned something new (to me) about our subframes

Re: Learned something new (to me) about our subframes

All e46 m3s will experience this failure with time . Stress or not. Street driven cars get this failure regularly. I'm sorry but this is a misinformation that helps no one :)

Re: Learned something new (to me) about our subframes

You experts are idiots. No offense to you of course.
Here's some real advice :
Unless you add a cmp or Vince bar, mason brace etc..your plates don't do much to protect you racp on their own.

Re: Intake and tune bang for the buck

Yep, no significant gain .
They do seem to flow better and smoother, but the problem is with the restriction in front of the elbow (stock intake /maf combination).
Here's a test from back in the...

Let me add my data point. Frank tuned 3 of my friend's cars, for the past 4 years, and his tunes were bang on. No issues since. Cars pull strong on independent dynos, with similar numbers to his,...

Re: American Racing Headers for the E46 M3

I have no brand bias, my entire setup is custom lol. I have also voiced out many time that super sprints single 3 inch section2 is bad. Their V1 headers are top dog though :)

Re: Intake and tune bang for the buck

Best intake;
-Stock till you install a csl intake
Best headers:
Super sprint V1 is the king of the hill. Otherwise the euro headers is best value, any otherheader will be inferior
Best cams:...
