Well, I bought two of these black and the sound is different...more throatier...unbelievable. I even check whether there was a leak but the bolt look and feel solid.

When my idler pulley started making noise, I just replaced that although I need to replace the hydraulic belt tensioner as it has a buggered torx nut...it still work great so I buy the stewart water...

If the ICV is new, I would suspect the tube to the elbow...even a slight crack at the tip the tube where it mats to the elbow can cause havoc.

I would place my money on the idler pulley...encircled in green. A better-diagnosis would be to use a mechanic stethoscope.

Yes; however, I had to get a laptop (Dell) with the nine pin serial and the tiny ADS for my OBD! car. I use mostly DIS for my car though. Windows 7 would have been a better option.

The problem is trying to fish it out is that the clutch fork lever is in the way if the slave cylinder piston fell to the bottom of the bell housing...I had the soft tip of the slave cylinder piston...

It's not caulk...it just uses the tube like caulk does and is black. I'll get the butyl tape.

If he had a stiff clutch pedal and then soft, shouldn't that indicates a leak? If that's the case, fluid should be coming out the transmission weep hole or out where the master connects to the hard...

This could/would be considered reimagined with a turbo. I would never spend $500,000 to reimagine an e36 M3 when I could buy several other cars.

Thank you Brett for responding...I threw away the old one and not sure where to find another tip...might be easier to just buy another slave cylinder. The next one I'll put some red loctite on that...

I was bleeding the clutch by removing the slave cylinder and squeezing the plunger (really needs large hands)...not sure what happened; however, the cap fell off in the transmission. I tried to feel...

That's what I thought being on the forum now for a while...still had to double checked. I think that mechanic just didn't want to fool around with a 95M3 when newer cars were lining up for service...

I have a used one; however, it's for 96+. I did an analysis with DIS, and it pointed to the front driver side...I cleaned the sensor (had lots of metal shavings) so I hoping that's it.

When I had bought my car, the PO said the ABS light had been on and the BMW master mechanic they took the car to, could not find the problem. The PO gave me the relays saying that installing them...
