Not sure how Firestone does alignment on BMWs particularly cars. I went to a BMW INDI shop and they do add weight with a big steel ball (about 100 pounds) to the 2 front seats as the BMW dealer does....

My new Apex EC-7 wheels 18/9.5/ET22 with 265/35/18 square setup were rubbing at front like yours. After raising heights from 13.5 to 14" front, the rubbing are gone.

I just drove my vert on race track for HPDE organized by NASA a week ago in North Cal. BMW CCA does no allow vert on track. So far I only fund NASA allows vert run for HPDE, but not sure for racing.

This is front control arm with outer and inner ball joint which are not separable for replacement. I think that your mechanic replaced FCABs. They could be shot quickly if driving a lot on rough road.

I installed my KW v2 2 months ago and have same issue with rear hight adjustment. It was at 13" and after changed to 18" wheels with 265/35 tires, it is now at 12.5".

I may left the upper robed...

Any new progress? You have OEM herders with cats, correct? It seems the new SMOG law has not been implemented as they still do sniff tests. I asked my local SMOG station today and got answer below.

Thanks for the info. I just had my tire and APEX EC 7 installed and 4 wheels alignment done by Gordon in his Mountain View shop. Will talk to him about Dyno.

NorCAL: Where did you Dyno in SF Bay Area?

Planning to do headers, exhaust plus tune and want to have baseline Dyno before and after installation. Anyone know where is the best shop in Bay Area for Dyno your M3?

In addition of all above, you have to swap the cats less headers or section 1 for SMOG or emission inspections every 2 years. That is why Mike at SGT is developing a CA cats section 1 right now and...

My understanding is that CARB certified CA cats would pass the visual inspection but regular 400 cell Magnaflow cats without certification will not. I am going to ask my SMOG guy tomorrow to confirm...
