Not recommended. Some of the big gains in the v1 setup come from the oversized section 1.

If you want to run a stock sized section 1, why not get their v2 headers or the CPI stepped headers?

BMWs water temp gauges are garbage. They have a massive range of temps for 'dead center'.

What do you mean guestimated? What did your oil temp gauge say? 20-30 should be easy to see on the stock...

Well I know P0lar has already made kits using the E9x rotors, and I don't think he spaced out the rotor hat (which I've had to do with custom kits before), so assuming that's correct; it works.

I think you might be using too aggressive of a pad compound and they're not getting hot enough. Aggressive pads are really rough on rotors when outside their temp range.

I think if Leighton wants to get a rotor GB together, the best option are the PFC v3's. Love their trick hat setup, but truthfully, I'm all about OE rotors. Can't beat free rotors for life.
