Imo there’s a ‘sweet’ spot (for lack of a better term) where the flywheel noise is loudest, much like a droney exhaust. Around 2.5-3k under a sliver of partial load. That and high rpm engine braking...

Honestly I really like it, that's why I didn't want to put the old dmf back in when my sprung clutch blew. The engine is obviously more revvy but not annoyingly so, in fact I still think my dad's...

Agreed that the V10 likely isn't worth it.. I'm partial to the 996 turbo. Fun as hell and I get the impression they're fairly bulletproof. 911 turbo is an awesome daily imo

Pretty much any rubber has some effect on nvh. Diff/trans/engine bushings, csb and guibo should pretty much take care of the drivetrain

In fact, I don't even think I want to get rid of my stock section 3 anymore. Just needs to be cleaned up and maybe get some larger tips for it. Maybe get a SS street muffler...

Fwiw, I just changed my trans fluid (pentosin GL4) and I still have to be gentle on the first few 1-2 shifts when its cold out. Granted my trans has 174k miles on it but once its warmed up it shifts...

I used the open GoPro shell, sounds pretty true to real life. Running a Rogue section 2 with evc, just cracked open about 30%. Very fun up over 4k rpm

I have a feeling I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed with the PA4s coming from Dunlop wintersport 3Ds.. it was around 0 deg today and there's practically no grip to be found. Makes for a fun...

That'll fit fine. I run 245/40 summers on my 18x9.5 apexs. In fact you generally want to run winters a bit narrower anyway. I've got 225/45s on my 17s (17x8 I think..?)

Forgot about this; owner's manual says the 10w-60 should be good to -4 deg F. Just wondering if the oil has changed a lot since the car was produced
