I use it with my maf-less CSL airbox setup. I would recommend it as it makes things easy and especially easy to undo things if/when needed.

Def replace rubber bushings, but the ball joints like in the outer control arms and tie rods, unless the boots are torn, will be good for a long time.

That's what I did. Mine went at about 140k, so I picked up a local, used one for cheap and it's still working at 180k. Hard to pay so much for an OE part, but OE is the way to go here.

I like and used the larger fender washers from the local hardware store that are pretty thick and they're hardened. They won't bend like that. I also threw a spring washer under the head of the bolt...

You know, I'm not too sure how much I want or need to stick to flatride. I did try 300lb previously, and prefer 325lb. Didn't dislike 440lb much either, tbh, though the car was not settled like it...

Almost the exact same! Worked out well. The other thing I didn't mention was that I pulled out the GC height adjusters and put in the stock BMW bottom pad. Still using the top GC nylon cone to...

4.1 might be fine at stock power levels. Like if you only had $1500 and wanted to make your stock m3 as fast as possible, I'd do that.

I think that's the right one. I think the "newer one's p/n is 144-1 as opposed to just 144.

But ya, give 'em a call. Straight version is for non M e46.
