Re: Obioban's i3 babymobile

I guess I'm okay with it either way, since whatever lack of repairability it has is built into the insurance costs. Being totaled isn't really any skin off our back, should it occur.

Re: Front Control Arm Outer Ball Joint seized

Just to confirm, you’re using the hammer at the same time as the puller is putting pressure on the joint, right?

Re: Custom 2.5 exhaust with SSV1s!

Stainless is a PITA to weld-- pulls hard, pulls far, pulls often. I'd do opposite sides alternating, ~1/10 of the tube each time. Pull it one way than back the other way. Also, less heat is better.

Until you need more (which happens a lot faster on overlowered cars), softer spring rates = more grip. :parrot:

Re: Ohlins R/T + E46 M3 Convertible

Depends on ride height. The Dinan camber plates change camber by a fixed amount. The result of that varies by where you are on the camber curve (determined by ride height).

If your diff is already solidly mounted, you won't hear the vibratech's over that.

But, I found them too noisy at idle and in motion.

CSs are 32 lbs each. Mounts/sliders add ~10 lbs each. Stock seats are 58-62 lbs depending how they're equipped, so 16-20 lbs saved per seat, or 32-40 lbs saved off the car from two seats.
