AKG plates are REQUIRED if you plan on keeping the car whether you track or cruise like your in a lowrider.

Ya your fine, lots of DIY's and that part is easy, you only need to remove three nuts at the rear and a couple t20 or t25 bolts at the front then the front will pop off (two more posts go into holes...

No it will not, the physical cassette size is different between coupe and sedan.

You can swap certain parts however, if you decide to repair.

Although honestly, it shouldn't be hard to find a...

Probably need some more poking around too. Anything from a bad ground to a sensor giving up or fuel system not holding pressure etc could be at fault.

Yup the rubber door seal was where I used the dry lubricant and 303 aerospace.

The 303 has about a 40SPF rating so it protects the rubber fairly well, its usually compared to gummi pflege on...

The sunroof now works quickly and quietly horizontally but it does not...

I used a dry lubricant that dissipates then aerospace 303. On the bottom of the rail I even tried Marine Grease.

Fitting an OBD2 exhaust to my 95M and read plenty of threads where people mount the o2 sensor somewhere further down on the OBD2 midpipe.

Just ordered the kit, with Oil temp, Oil Pressure and Water Temp.

The kit replaces the factory coolant drain plug with a modified one that includes the sending unit.

So I will keep my TB lines...

Just got a quote from them for about 400 including shipping.

Its an extra 55 or so for the water temp guage and they said everything comes in the kit to plug and play.

For now I went with OEM struts/shocks and the springs that came with the car which appear to be factory.

Going to drive the factory setup for a bit while I finish also restoring the interior etc....

Took the towels off from above the shifter and its holding so far. The walls are mostly glued on as well and the edges I did with the Yellow 3M paste which is going to hold pretty well I believe.

Purpose of Oil/Air baffle near Vanos on 95 Valve Cover?

I had my valve cover powder coated and the screws that hold that baffle piece near the Vanos side of the valve cover are missing.

I was going to head to a hardware store to replace the screws but...

Bought some 3M Yellow adhesive paste. Might work...I didn't think the spray stuff would work either.

Used to have a huge roll of airplane type foil tape at my Dad's house, wish I had it around...

Rear End Quick Check

I was rebuilding my rear end as well as re-doing most of the rest of the car.

Decided to farm out the rear wheel bearings and a few of the bushings to a BMW shop while I kept working on the rest...

Yup. It says recommended not necessary, but people have had them shift without the set screw.

They don't seem like they have to be perfect in there, but if it shifts enough, it obviously can...

I was going to use a mityvac.

It is hand pump operated and is normally used to suck up engine oil through the dipstick.

Useful if you do an extra oil change between long interval services on...

Plan to disconnect filler hose as it goes into tank from underneath and then put the hose...

I think I have only heard of OEM's using poly for leaf spring bushings etc.

Not sure what other applications they may use it for in the future.

Ordered all rubber then did an about face and ordered some "soft" poly to try out in the rear subframe, RTAB location, differential mounts and FCAB location.

They were from AKG and are the softest...
