This what I did when my 99 M3 went into the guard rail at the track. I found a 328is that had a solid chassis but numerous mechanical issues that I got for $800.

I fixed all the issues and sold...

If you're in Texas as it seems, your car is more than 10 years old.. no salvage title if totalled. As long as the frame is straight, it's rebuildable.

I went with Aerocatch and they work great. Just took a while to get them adjusted... no more issues with trying to open my hood because of stretched release cables or the cheap plastic interior...

Well looks like the intake temp sensor is bad... new one on order as well as new grommets for the ICV and Oil/water separator.
One thing that doesn't look right... the crankcase breather hose...

I checked the wiring... the temp sensor plug has a gry/brn and brn (gnd) so used that one. I can try switching them and see what happens. The throttle body has a sandwich plate between the gaskets. ...

The FPR is under the drivers seat just in front of the fuel filter. Have that vacuum hooked in. Have the vacuum port for the SAP plugged. Put an intake temp sensor from the 99 M3 into the M50...

SAP was deleted... going to have to find out where this routes thru... is it the fitting on the front the fuse box? Looks like it runs underneath it.

Yeah.. I've removed these before so I probably tightened too hard myself. 30T Torx and always careful abut making sure it's seated correctly.. I just fudged it up. Been using a Dremel with a stone...

Nevermind... found a good picture on Pelican Parts DIY.... seems PO must have taken them out once before and reinstalled them incorrectly. They hold the injector to the fuel rail. He had them...

Doing the fuel injectors... #5 listed as clamp. What do these actually do? Looking at them on the injectors, they look like they clip on and don't do anything.

I concur with that also... Mine had the Shark Tune and I immediately reverted back to stock.... much nicer and then recently went with the Evolve AlphaN tune. A world apart.

I looked at the diagram again... The Max Heat Switch I saw is part of the a/c control module. I'll pull that in the morning.... Cross your fingers!

One of the wires feeding the chime had chaffed.. Taped it up and I'm back to where I started at 140 ma minus 60 for the VDO gauge... Still a 70-80 ma draw somewhere on that circuit. At least I can...

Unplugged the chime and immobilized... Not them... Put it all back together... Drain increased to 460 ma... WTF. Yeah... Made sure the doors were closed. Gonna give it another look over tomorrow...
