Those particular tank brackets are much too weak to provide and structural support, but I have been toying around with a similar idea.

I've had my CSF installed since late August 2015 and so far it shows no signs of any kind of failure. And I even run my M3 through the winter.

My recommendation is to go with the epoxy/rivet solution.
Mainly because there's no heat related issues to deal with, the epoxy and rivets are at least as strong...
