Looks like power steering reservoir and/or hoses. Check clamps under reservoir.

Should have prefaced with this install is part of the larger refresh stemming from the subframe reinforcement. However, this specific thread was addressing any wear items in the shifter assembly...

Just for a follow up...

I used the part number above 13621743299 to replace the original o-ring and it worked fine.

After the engine cooled down, the system depressurized and had enough vacuum...

S54 VANOS assembly with solenoid

Selling the VANOS assembly from my 2006 M3 with 87k miles. Had no pre existing issues prior to removal. No codes at removal and the car ran perfect so the solenoid should be good as well. No issues,...

I think it's only appropriate to confess how much you've spent on it. I've had mine for 4 years and I'm probably around the $7,000 range. Another $3,000 coming up soon on parts/labor for subframe...

I'm assuming you already have plates welded in underneath since you have solid subframe mounts. Otherwise, you're probably transferring a ton of stress to the weak spots.

Yes they are supposed to be replaced. The threads on the bolts are stretched during the torque process. Though, I didnít replace mine around 5,000 miles ago and Iím still safe.
