*** Ticking noise is fixed, i had to grind down the extended bolts (43MM) on the driver side rear wheel to get rid of the ticking noise. The passenger rear wheel is fine, so i'm guessing the ebrake...

So i been reading about the correct wheel bolt torque; the F80 M3 which i got the wheels from calls it for 104ft-lb, but the E46 M3 is 88ft-lbs, I should be using the E46 M3 torque specs, correct?

I installed the spacers with stock wheels and ticking noise is gone so the extended bolts must be too long. If anyone is buying spacers with extended bolts be aware that they might not fit if you...

got you, will look into getting shorter bolts. I got a torque wrench and i do 88lbs tq on the bolts..

True, the part is cheap, i will tackle it this weekend. I got all the fluids replaced already and some other major cooling components. Next is rod bearings and spark plugs..

Got you, but isn't 39MM a bit too short? thats a 4MM difference, i don't want me wheels to fall off..

I was thinking of doing that, stock bolts were 28MM and the extended ones i got are 43MM (15MM spacers) so they should fit, but now i am stuck with bolts that i paid for and have to get new ones. ...

That's what i was thinking, but was told that they are for stock applications, so basically i need to grind them down a bit as they are too long and hitting something inside the hub...

I was told that the spacers with extended bolts are only for stock application, meaning they are meant for wheels that came stock with the car...so no i'm confused..

When buying spacers with extended bolts, are they only specifically made to fit stock wheels that the car came with from factory or you should be able to fit other wheels that are similar size?

It is BMW waterpump, i only use BMW Original parts on my cars. I didn't see white spots but will double check tonight..

got you, yes no ticking noise before, but i got new wheels (a bit wider) plus 15MM spacers and extended bolts. Also, this ticking noise i hear from the back driver side, not sure if the passenger...

will do, so basically the extended bolts have to be sticking out of the wheel with the spacer as the original bolts without the spacer, correct?

I checked the bolts and they don't show any signs of wear, they came with the Spacers, it was a package deal so the bolts should be the right size. I checked the other wheel and the spacer doesn't...

I got 15MM spacers (brand new) for my back wheels and 1 of them is a bit loose while on the hub, basically i can move it up and down a tiny bit, is this normal? now while driving i hear a ticking...
