I have the OEM coupe rack (not really selling it), but it doesn't attach to the black trim. It attaches to the body in the groove above the black trim.

$14-16k is my guess, mods don't usually add as much as what you pay for them, but your maintenance seems good. I got a low-rise LTW wing that'd look great on it. GLWS!

Yeah definitely plan it out. It's not hard really, I did it myself and I'm far from a mechanic-type guy.

I also 'rebuilt' my injectors while I was there since you have to take the fuel rail off...

I removed it when it died on my '99 M3. I was doing an M50 mani swap at the time and wanted a tune anyways, so I got a TRM tune that eliminated the SAP check, never had an issue with emissions check...

s54 z3 treated me right for a few years now.

Cheap enough, replace every 10 years or 80k miles or so, I think they've proven themselves.
