No check valve, sounds like you need a new cap…but you should be getting evap codes if it was venting and able to leak.

You may find that 17 X 8.5 ET41 wheels with 245/40-17 tires fit without spacers up front on a 1995M3. 1996+M3 will require at least 5mm...

Koni’s have Lifetime warranty, but they have to sent back for testing, and you have to be the original purchaser.

The tensioner pulley #6 has the attach fastener hole on center.

Carbon fiber drive shaft (SMG)

The SMG and 6-Speed manual are the same gearbox, shafts should be / are the same.

Another good choice might be Dinan springs on Koni’s or H&R OE Sports ( requires 1995M3 ‘hats’) on Bilstein’s.

1996+M3 was the fastest car in the 60 foot slalom and has the fastest 60-to-80 time of production car at the time. Even has a faster 0 - 60 time than euro cars of that era.

Don’t use first and don’t back-up. Stick with the high end - 95mph…

1995M3 245/40-17 (street tires) on 8.5” ET41 up front, close but no spacer.
1996+M3, the wheel will contact the strut just slightly and tire will rub hard due to Spindle/King Pin/FLCA/FLCAB/Guide...

245/45-17 is too tall for E36 and messes with gearing/speedo.

On a 1996+M3 you will get rubbing/interference on the strut casing, do to geometry revisions on the Spindle...
