Re: Namniek's '04 LSB/Black

So much to update...

Last year at Buttonwillow for Bimmer Challenge in July the car got a little warm on while on track. I caught it early and pulled off track to let it cool down. I didn't...

Re: Wheel Studs Conversion

Not difficult at all if you order correctly sized studs. 45mm studs work perfectly with closed end lugs and no spacers.

Re: Bimmerworld Heater Core delete kit

Nice! Wish I had thought about that/seen this a couple months ago, haha.

For the water pump, it's a 29/32" freeze plug. Dorman PN:555-015 works great and was only 50 cents from O'Reilly's.

Re: Bimmerworld Heater Core delete kit

Mine was a little loose when I installed it. Put it all together and it had a small leak. To fix it I pulled it off and put rtv on the inside and reinstalled it. Haven't had any issues with it...

Re: G-Loc Brakes Group Buy

I don't know if the compounds are duplicates but they are the original guys from Carbotech. They are quickly growing in popularity with a number of front running cars using them.

Re: Introducing the VinceSkinz (subframe plates)

Not sure where/with which airframes your background lies but structural repairs installed with rivets are pretty standard for sheet metal repairs.

I do agree that improperly placed and drilled...

Re: Definitive Coilover Guide w/ Poll

MCS is in the same league as (argubly better) JRZ and Moton. They should be listed as well. The JRZ RS1 can be ordered as a rear coilover as well as the higher end models.

If it really bothers you then you can always order a new one to replace it with. I had the same thing happen to one of my GC street plates. It's an easy swap. Yours looks to be in great shape...

I don't think Bimmerworld makes CF hoods or doors. They do make a trunk lid but it's for the E92.
