E46dawg edited his own posts. Everything you see is 100% his own content. All I did was take an off-topic discussion to its own separate thread. Which apparently was really triggering.

The thread had gotten seriously off topic. I think I kept all the relevant posts in the new thread. There might be a couple left back there.

Re: Review: Cobra Nogaro seats (uniquely street friendly fixed back bucket seat)

I feel like I've seen *a lot* more variability with cinnamon from car to car than with the other M3 interiors (including Imola), so I don't know how feasible a perfect match would be

Re: The perfect daily driver?

Yeah the manual software is set for 2.81 and changing the diff to a 3.15 causes the DME to get confused about which gear it's in, which results in cruise not working. I modified the values to work...

Re: The perfect daily driver?

^ For what it's worth, a few years ago I made a flash for the 540i6 that fixes cruise control with 3.15 diffs. Also enables oil temp and warmup lights if you ever decide to do an M5 cluster retrofit....

Re: Comprehensive SMG to 6MT Conversion Thread

No. Itís listed as not compatible with 2002+ M3ís because 2002+ factory manual M3ís came with the new style switch from the beginning.

2001 M3ís came with a different style switch, and the...

Re: ► JRZ RS Coilover Package Group Buy - Hosted by APEX

This. Honestly, I'd much rather have a setup that's non-adjustable. Just something that's engineered from the ground up to be appropriate for our cars (I suppose technically that's what OE precisely...

Re: Tach Warm Up / Redline Lights - Dimming?

If you want to dim them independently of everything else, you’ll need to open it up and change the resistors to a larger value.

Re: Sold the Jet Black, picked up an E90 M3

Sounds like this could be fun to tinker with once the community makes DIY tuning a bit more accessible. Even the MSS54 does actually alter the rate at which torque is allowed to increase/decrease in...

Re: Sold the Jet Black, picked up an E90 M3

Hmm, I never felt the e46 to feel as fast as the F80 in any context. Marginally more responsive yes, but not tremendously so. And I promise I’m not on crack :)

The chassis is what impresses me the...

In any case, the head is the same as all...

Supposedly it only got the S motor since they couldn't hit their performance targets with the new emissions rules on the non-S motors

Re: What did you do to/for your ///M today?

Couple corrections:

BTM is passenger, FTM is driver side

I wouldn't bother setting the option on the FTM module since you shouldn't need your driver mirror to tilt.

Sometimes the sensors themselves get a little flakey, but might be worth measuring the oil pressure.

Re: Best subframe repair options as of July 2018?

It really isn't that surprising IMO. Properly inspecting the subframe requires a lot more labor than any dealer will bother with. Whatever brand they've built themselves, they're ultimately still a...

Re: Aftermarket Transmission

Interestingly enough, the E46 330d does use a version of that transmission, so its transmission mount (22316760531 and 22316760532) may work. What might make it more difficult is the bell housing...

Re: E46 M3 Oem 6-speed wiring harness

Ebox fan connector changed from a 3-pin to a 2-pin at some point. In both cases only 2 wires are used, so it's not hard to swap the connectors if necessary.
