Nope. I don't know why the copper and lead went down, but rod bearings were done ~8k miles (and ~3 changes) before I started sending samples to Blackstone.

No, the ZF310 does still suffer from it-- mine did, and the detent and shift pin fix for the ZF320 fixed mine. The issue may be more infrequent but it still can occur on the 310s.

Nope, they still sell it as part of their regular system. If you're referring to the link I posted then that's for just their 2.5" / 63.5mm system components, so they don't list the original X pipe...

Also the new parts are 60mm, not 2.5" (measured them). I believe the Euro E36 parts are also 60mm according to SS.

Update after 5 track days of ~270 F post-cooler temps, 290-300 pan temps, and lots of 8200rpm limiter banging.

Redline 15w50. Blackstone doesn't see any issues with oil breakdown or motor wear....

What uses the pedal travel sensor? The ASC or the DME?

If the latter, IIRC he's S54 swapped, so he doesn't need that sensor to exist anymore. If the former....no clue, don't have ASC.

Yep. I had the 3.15 gears for a couple years post S54 swap. It was dreadfully boring to rip through the gears, as redline happens well after felony speeding.

I'm MUCH happier with the 3.91 gears....

It bolts to the firewall but not to the pedal. What you want is a Z3 S54 booster, which you can buy new. Or could, when I bought mine.

My 310z had BAD 5th gear lean. Doing the detent bushings and the shift pins fixed the issue as it did on my other car's 320z.

Less common, maybe, but it definitely affects them.

I know a number of folks locally had good success with that setup. I had full DAs, so no direct experience.

Not the folks I know; the DA rears are (were?) not a huge increase over SA rear so that was a popular setup for a while among the CO autox group.

My TCKs lasted at least 8 years of track use before they needed rebuilding, which was ~$150/corner if I'm remembering right.

Another very popular TCK setup is SA front DA rear.

I ran 245/40/17 on square 17x8.5s for years (still do, sometimes). I have always had coilovers so I can't speak to front clearance, but on my 95, I never needed spacers up front with the Kosei K1s....

Fair, I meant that it's dubious whether it will be approved with engine and DME not matching. It varies significantly with the referee as well-- Gpeterson had a rough time with the ref due to CVNs...

I should also note that the Supersprint Euro E36 catted midpipe does not pass Colorado emissions on a mildly tuned S50, so I would not assume that the HJS cats would pass emissions in other states on...

I have the front bar set to ~1" from the ends, and the rear bar set one hole from full soft. Car is overall pretty neutral.

I haven't had issues on my own car, but they're probably due for replacement. 88 ft/lbs before the event and ~4 years on the BW bulletnose studs now.

Our lemons car did break a set of studs....

If all you're after is a length, it'll be within a few inches of the length from the front wheels to the rear bumper, given where the front exhaust manifold flange is.

I'd use the hitch to tow a cheapo tire/tools trailer. It's not super fun to try and maneuver a set of tires + tools in an e36 with a roll bar haha.

Why do you want to spend that much on sub-Hoosier track tires instead of the tried and true NT01 / R888s?

To actually answer, it will probably be fine, but will depend on your wheel offset + wheel...
